Mango chutney: An edible mosaic
When one craves for chutneys more than the actual meal, Normal people just don't understand how one could get so excited about something as ordinary as food. The mango chutney quick, easy, spicy & authentic Indian condiment that has a multitude of uses beyond what you'd expect & have various ways of preparation. This time Indian Eating Habits have come up with raw mango chutney which is super easy & super quick to prepare as it does not involve long cooking hours. Our mild mango chutney is a delicious blend of juicy mangoes with cumin & mint leaves(pudina). This Kairi chutney goes very well with Indian dishes, add a generous dollop of it on top of curries or enjoy with chila pakodas. rice, dahi vada e.t.c.

Nowhere else is the mango held in as much reverence as it is in India & Pakistan. The fruit has grown popularity so much that it is now being cultivated across the world. If you walk through the Indian streets, almost every other street food vendors will have some kind of chutney as a condiment. Chutney is normally freshly made, unlike pickles that keep for a long time. Though they can easily be kept in the fridge for a couple of days. Different variations of the chutney can be found throughout India. For example, North-India special sweet tamarind chutney or South-India special mint coconut chutney, peanut chutney. Each one of them is as delicious as the other. Aam pudina ki chutney is a delicious, easy to make & cool tangy recipe. It is so refreshing that once you try it, It is going to be part of your daily meal for the rest of the summers. Yes, This is a Summer special chutney.
So, Let's begin with the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 raw mango
1 bunch of mint leaves
2 green chilies
1tbsp cumin seeds
Recipe:
Cut mangoes in cubes. Take mixie jar to add cut mangoes, mint leaves, green chilies & cumin seed.
Grind all into a fine paste. Add salt & serve.
Ps:
- We used slightly ripe mango here for the creamy consistency
- We used two big chilies & those are not much high on heat.
- Fresh mint gives the best taste.
