Tamatar Dhaniya ki Chutney
India is a land of various tastes, various cuisines & various cultures. Food is something that is closely related to one’s culture. We feel chutney is also the culture that can be found in every state of India. Although the preparation methodology, the mixture of spices changes as we move from state to state. But Chutney is must include condiment in the Indian eating habits. Various south Indian chutneys like peanut chutney, coconut chutney, all have a special place in South-Indian Breakfast. Chutneys should be such that, It should be prepared in no time. Mostly North-Indian chutneys like mint coriander chutney takes less than a minute to prepare So, We came up with this easy & quick tomato & coriander (cilantro) chutney. This chutney forms its roots from Uttar-Pradesh. These taste awesome when made with small & juicy red tomatoes (desi tomatoes in local language), which comes especially in winters.
Ingredients:
2 fresh red tomatoes
1 bunch of fresh coriander
2 green chilies
3-4 garlic cloves
1 tbsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
Recipe:
Mix all the ingredients together & grind it into a fine paste.
Add salt & serve with the pakoras or veg pulao.
Ps:
We used coriander sticks more in the chutney for that fiber but one can choose to use leaves only for the chutney.
Leave your comment, your request & any suggestions, We'll be glad to answer all that.
